March 25 - Zoom meeting - Dr. Ehrin Weiss
March 25, 2022
12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
ZOOM Meeting

Summary/Learning Objectives:
Anxiety disorders in children were on the rise before the Covid pandemic, and have become even more prevalent in the two years since the beginning of the pandemic. Although anxiety is highly treatable, the majority of children and adolescents with anxiety will either not receive treatment or will receive treatment that may worsen their anxiety. In this presentation, participants will learn the similarities and differences between childhood and adult anxiety, challenges in treating childhood anxiety, approaches for working directly with anxious children, and how to involve parents in treatment.
